Speak & Translate - Translator App Reviews

I don’t use this often. Like maybe once or twice a year, so buying the $20 version does not make sense. In the free version, a pop up ad will show up after every translation before I even get to see or hear the translation. I even have to click the ad for it to go away. This app used to be great, now it’s not useful at all.

Easy to use good Catalan support!

Tried to get a few very simple words translated into Spanish and not one of the translations was correct or even close

UPDATE: the app still has occasional pop-ups but that’s expected of a free app. It works good. I have used this app for about 6 months. My wife is Chinese and knows some English but sometimes words, phrases or topics need some explaining or more details. The apps always had ad pop-ups but recently the pop-ups come every time I begin to write something. Not only distracting but requires me to re-type what I was writing because the pop-up came have a sentence in.

In Japan - google translate works better and is free (still not great though). I didn’t find out until it was too late.

Really. You are going to send me an ad half way through typing a word??? It is so intrusive I cant tell if it is a decent program. Everyone says it is but doesnt appear very good.

If you dont travel, dont purchase for kids use to learn different word translations for fun nor homework or learning ... $30 Canadian Dollars to unlock :(

Useless unless you are a man or woman of few words . The daily limit for the free version seems only about 10-15 times then you are speechless until it allows you again . A shame because the app seems to be fairly correct in its translations .

When I need to know a word in a different language I dont have to wast my time and get on a whole other website I just simply click and type and there is the accurate word. Thx?

Too many ads right away - not sure how well it will work as ad free but will try it it before upgrading-
